The most noteworthy improvement over its predecessor is battery life. The Xperia Pro has a lithium-ion battery that lasts for up to 14 hours of talk time. Music playback also offers impressive endurance with up to 40 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. Video playback will offer about 10 hours of continuous playback before needing to be recharged. Battery life can depend on how you use your phone but if you’re not looking at too many movies or playing music all day, your phone should hold out just fine.
Although 14 hours of talk time is great for a phone, it’s not quite as impressive for a Smartphone. For example, Apple’s iPhone 5 offers up to 10 hours of continuous talk time and its new version can last up to 12 hours.
