Battery Life
The battery is one of its biggest strengths, featuring a 4,000mAh capacity which should easily be enough to last you through a day’s worth of use. However, it’s disappointing that it doesn’t support any form of fast charging. That being said, if you don’t mind plugging in your phone every night then there really shouldn’t be any problems with battery life. You may want to consider purchasing a portable charger or battery pack if you don’t plan on connecting your phone to power during the day though. Even though it features only Android Go (and not Android 9 Pie), I found that battery life was surprisingly good considering how minimalistic Go is compared to other versions of Android.
Just like with other areas of its performance, battery life is another place where you’ll see a big step up from entry-level smartphones. When you take into account that entry-level phones are usually closer to $200 than $150, paying an extra $30 for such a huge increase in battery life is actually pretty decent value for money. When it comes to watching videos or playing games, there isn’t much difference between these two phones. The main difference is how quickly they drain their batteries while they’re being used. With both devices reaching 10% in just under 2 hours of continuous use, it seems as though Huawai has optimised power usage on its hardware rather than boosting it through software enhancements.
With both devices reaching 10% in just under 2 hours of continuous use, it seems as though Huawai has optimised power usage on its hardware rather than boosting it through software enhancements. While I was watching videos on Youtube for about 2 hours continuously, one of these smartphones took almost 5% of battery life per hour. The other device took just over 6%. This may not seem like much, but when you take into account that I had to recharge my phone every night (the A1’s 4,000mAh battery also lasts for around 3 days between charges), there’s a very noticeable difference between them. The Huawei P Smart 2019 takes around 7 hours to charge from 0-100%, while its competitor takes closer to 9 or 10 hours.
conclusion
Yes, Samsung Galaxy A Series has come back with a new device called Galaxy A13. The phone is very impressive at its price range. For sure, it will be placed in mid-range but if you’re looking for an affordable phone with all features then your search ends here. Galaxy A series has always been one of my favorite and now we have a successor for those mid-range phones that offer great value for money. Before buying it, I suggest you to go through its full specification & features so that you can make up your mind about buying it or not. So let’s get started!
The display of Galaxy A13 is stunning. It comes with 6.4-inch notched display and HD+ resolution of 1440×720 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio. The display offers awesome visuals and great color accuracy so watching movies or playing games will be a wonderful experience on it. It’s packed with 1GB RAM, 16GB storage + 128GB expandable memory which is good enough to store all your media files, movies, games etc. The phone is powered by Exynos 7904 chipset coupled with Mali G71 MP2 GPU for better graphics & performance but sadly there’s no fingerprint sensor embedded in it though you get Face Unlock feature which works pretty well most of time.
