Oppo Reno 7, the next upcoming Oppo mid-ranger was recently leaked by Indian retailer Flipkart revealing it to be sporting an 18:9 aspect ratio display and the new Kirin 710 SoC along with the 16MP + 5MP camera setup at the back. The phone is expected to be launched on 6 September in China along with its much powerful sibling, the Oppo Reno 10 with an in-display fingerprint sensor and could be launched in India later on. Full Specifications
The Oppo’s latest handset, Oppo Reno 7 has been unveiled. According to some sources, it comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It comes with a notch display that is 19:9 ratio LCD display. The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU and 4,000mAh battery capacity. It will be available in two colors: Red and black color scheme. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of box along with ColorOS 5 interface layer.
According to some sources, Oppo will release its new flagship device in Mid-2018. The device will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. We may see a new camera technology which we have not seen earlier in other smartphones.

The Oppo Reno 7 has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, with a dedicated microSD card slot for up to 256GB. It is backed by a 3500mAh battery that supports VOOC fast charging (5V/4A) which allows it to charge fully in less than 2 hours. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 out of the box and offers Dual VoLTE support. As for optics, you get a 13MP primary camera on back with LED flash while upfront there’s a 25MP selfie shooter with portrait mode, AI Beautify and Face Unlock capabilities.
The device measures 156.6 x 74.8 x 8.15mm and weighs 184 grams, with a metal unibody design that features a teardrop notch on top of its display for housing a selfie camera and earpiece. Oppo has also thrown in Face Unlock capability for added security, which works by using facial recognition technology to scan your face using over 200 facial points and unlocks your phone as soon as it sees you. It even works in darkness to some extent. And like other recent Oppo smartphones, there’s an under-display fingerprint sensor too!
Color Options
The smartphone is available in five color options, including classic black, gold, red and blue. The red option is similar to what we’ve seen on devices like OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition or HTC U11 Plus. Just as with other Oppo phones, there are also alternate back covers that users can switch to get different textures or unique artwork. These special designs will be unveiled later in November with a dedicated event scheduled in Shanghai. Sales of the device will begin right after its announcement tomorrow on November 3 and buyers will have three days to register interest before sales open up online at 10:00 AM local time on November 6.
The standard version of Oppo Reno 7 will be priced at 3,599 Yuan (US$585) for a version with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Users can add 512GB storage for a premium of 1,699 Yuan (~$265) or opt for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage at 4,499 Yuan (~$710). All models are available in black and gold colors. Color options include red, blue, purple and two additional themes that will be revealed later in November. A more limited-edition 10th Anniversary Edition is also planned with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and gold finish but no further details have been shared just yet.

Oppo’s R7 is priced at about $400 for 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. For an extra $100, you can double both those specs. The Chinese company will also release a version with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM that will likely carry a slightly higher price tag. No word yet on when or where you’ll be able to get your hands on one, but there’s a good chance it’ll cost around $450 to start. In China, that should put it right in line with similar phablets like Xiaomi’s Mi Note ($465) and Huawei’s Ascend Mate2 ($450).
According to China’s leading phone retailer, Oppo phones are expected to hit retail soon. It says that it’ll offer a limited time sale of each new device when it arrives. The price will start at CNY1,999 (about $320) for 16GB and 2GB of RAM; CNY2,499 ($400) for 64GB and 4GB of RAM; and CNY2,999 ($475) for 128GB and 6GB of RAM. Other retailers plan to sell the R7 in both gold or silver at identical prices.

January 2016. Price and availability are still yet to be confirmed.
