Then you can make comparisons between the same & decide which one to buy and which not to buy.
Design
The Motorola Moto G5S is a handsome and well-built smartphone, but it’s also thin at just 7.9mm and light at 150g. That makes it comfortable to use one-handed and there’s also no ‘bump’ or camera hump on the rear – where many other smartphones still have a protruding camera lens.
The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for durability, and there are 16GB of internal storage as standard (plus microSD card support). There’s also a fingerprint scanner on board for security purposes.
The Motorola Moto G5S also benefits from a great rear camera. It’s a 12MP dual-pixel snapper with an f/1.7 aperture and it can take photos very quickly thanks to a dedicated image signal processor (ISP).
The front-facing 8MP camera can record video in full HD 1080p, and there’s also HDR mode for enhanced contrast. These both sound impressive on paper, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good they actually are in reality.
Display
Motorola Moto G51 (5G) boasts a screen that measures 6.2 inches in diagonal. The screen is an IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels, with a pixel density of 424 PPI.
Its display is multi-touch capacitive and features Adaptive Brightness for automatic dimming and brightening depending on ambient light conditions; it also has Corning Gorilla Glass protection from scratches.
The display of Motorola Moto G51 (5G) is rated for up to 450 nits brightness, has a contrast ratio of 1500:1, and is HDR10 compatible. It also features DC dimming and 5-point touch control; its viewing angles are 170 degrees in each direction.
Additionally, it supports stereo sound, while audio out is provided via a 3.5mm headphone jack or speakers with Dolby Atmos technology. The screen size and resolution make watching videos on your phone an immersive experience,
with no compromises made to quality regardless of format (whether you’re streaming YouTube in 1080p or Netflix in 4K).
A feature that takes advantage of its large screen real estate – especially if you watch videos on it often – is Ambient
Hardware
The Motorola Moto G5S Plus is a fairly capable device, but it’s not in any way groundbreaking. It’s got a Snapdragon 625 processor and an Adreno 506 GPU, which makes it pretty much as good as you could expect at a sub-$300 price point.
In addition to that, you get 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage space with microSD expansion up to 128GB, and dual rear-facing cameras of 12MP and 5MP with flash.
The smartphone has a 3000mAh battery with Turbo Charging support (quick charging). Motorola claims that you can charge up to 7 hours’ worth of juice in 15 minutes of charging. That sounds impressive on paper!
The display on the Motorola Moto G5S Plus is a 5.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1920×1080, resulting in a pixel density of 401ppi. You also get Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch resistance and protection against accidental falls.
It’s got great color reproduction and viewing angles, but it can be hard to see in direct sunlight, unfortunately. The screen also supports Glove Mode, which makes it easier to use your phone even if you have gloves on during winter or other colder months.
It’s quite an underrated feature, as most people aren’t aware that they can adjust their touchscreen sensitivity based on circumstances!
The camera is kind of low-key and doesn’t capture photos any better than other devices in its price range.
Software & User Interface
As is typical with Android phones, Motorola’s offerings for software and user interface aren’t always original or exciting. That being said, you can expect a solid stock experience with a few minor tweaks thrown in.
The UI isn’t quite as bland as some previous Motorola models like last year’s Z3, but it won’t be winning any awards either. The device is simple to use and doesn’t get in your way. This can be considered both a positive and negative depending on your outlook—
there are definitely more advanced UIs out there, but if you like keeping things simple then you might appreciate what Moto has done here.
The phone comes with Android 9 Pie onboard, and it’s running under a mostly stock version of it. There are a few nice touches thrown in here and there, including gesture controls like swiping down to see notifications or swiping up to access your Google Assistant. Most of these features have been seen before—for example, they’re also available on LG’s phones—
but they’re still welcome additions if you aren’t already using them elsewhere. With Android as open-source software that can be modified by manufacturers, even vanilla versions often come with numerous pre-installed apps that don’t need to be there.
Cameras
With a 13MP main camera, you’ll be able to capture your best photos. And with its 8MP selfie camera, you can capture some pretty epic selfies too. The cameras on these devices are very easy to use and are great for beginners, but don’t feel limited in how you take your photos.
After all, capturing memories is what it’s all about. There’s a flash on both sides of these devices so taking photos and selfies at night is no problem either. Now go out there and start snapping!
There’s a lot more to do with these devices than just taking photos though. These devices are great for videos too! Not only can you take some great videos, but they record in amazing quality.
From full HD quality video to slow motion and time-lapse, there are plenty of options available on these devices. Now get out there and show off your latest video!
Battery
The Motorola Moto G5 Plus is a perfectly capable Android smartphone. It features a great camera, long battery life, and decent performance for its price, but there are similarly priced options that have more than twice as much internal storage.
The phone does not have a fingerprint scanner, so it won’t be your go-to for mobile payments. Still, you can’t argue with a phone that has excellent specs at such an affordable price.
If you’re in need of a well-rounded Android smartphone that won’t break your budget, look no further than Motorola’s new Moto G5 Plus. The phone features a solid metal build and premium features such as a fingerprint scanner and front-facing speakers.
You can use it on all major US carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless. It even works with Google Project Fi wireless service for those looking to save some money on data. And its battery should last about as long as many pricier phones—if not longer.

Connectivity & Misc. Features
The Motorola Moto G6 features dual SIM, USB OTG, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and support for NFC. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM Radio along with a DTS sound output through its headphones as well.
Connectivity options include everything you need to make sure that your music never stops playing as well as working with multiple contacts to keep in touch on all your devices.
The Motorola Moto G6 also offers wireless charging and while not common with many mid-range phones is worth mentioning here at least so it doesn’t get overlooked!
There are however a few other features that should be mentioned like Motorola’s Moto App. This app helps users customize their phone to best fit their lifestyle through its several different Moto Experiences which include things like silencing your phone during meetings and no longer missing calls because you misplaced your phone.
There is also another neat feature called Night Display which uses a blue light filter to help combat eye strain during long periods of use at night as well as reduce bright light that can keep you up and make it harder to sleep.
Not only does Night Display help combat these two issues but it also increases battery life by reducing screen brightness. So even if you do have trouble sleeping, your device won’t!
