Motorola has launched the Edge 30 Ultra with full specification at (price) in India. It features with 1GHz Quad-Core processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 5-inch HD IPS Display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot(not included). The phone comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera, Motorola has also given NFC support in the device along with 3G support and 1700 mAh battery capacity. The device measures 8.8mm thickness and comes in Black color only…etc…
1) Design
The Motorola Edge 30 is an ultra slim smartphone. It comes with a 5 inch IPS LCD display, 720 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor along with 1 GB of RAM. On board you get 8 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB via a micro SD card slot.
As far as optics are concerned, it has an 8 MP rear camera that comes with LED flash and autofocus features. Up front, it features a 2 MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
The phone runs on Android OS, v4.2 (Jelly Bean) which is upgradable to v5.0 (Lollipop). Other features include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB etc. For connectivity it has options like GPRS/ EDGE/ 3G/ HSPA+ along with 2G.
It has a Li-ion 2300 mAh battery capacity which gives up to 16 hours of talk time and more than 300 hours of standby time. The handset measures 135 x 67 x 10 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 125 grams.

The device is running on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It features a 5-inch HD display. Under, it runs on a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core 64-bit processor, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM.
The internal storage is limited to 16GB, but it can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). For photography, there’s an 8MP shooter at its back and 5MP front camera for selfies/video calling purpose.

Sensors on board include ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor and magnetometer. It also has a fingerprint scanner embedded in its home button, which is located at its front side.
The smartphone is IP54 certified, which means it can resist water splashes. However, prolonged exposure to water may damage its insides or get it permanently damaged.
It’s also 9.9mm thick and weighs at 155 grams. It supports micro-SIM cards for GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile, but not for CDMA networks like Verizon Wireless. Since it’s a dual-SIM phone, you can use only one SIM card at a time in any of its two slots.
5) Audio
With your phone, you can listen to your favorite music on speakers or headphones for hours at a time. The audio is crisp and clear. The apps that you download from App Store give you a nice listening experience on your device. Your media also looks better on larger screens because it’s crisp and clear as well.
You can adjust your volume as per your requirement while listening to songs, podcasts or videos etc. It has 10mm dual speaker fitted in with it which makes it sound loud enough even in noisy surroundings like crowded places etc.
When it comes to quality of music that plays while calling, voice call quality is crystal clear without any distortion whatsoever.
It’s another prominent feature of Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. You can listen to FM radio as well but only in mono sound. The speaker phone is loud enough to hear from a distance though it lacks stereo sound so I didn’t like it much when using as a speakerphone while travelling in noisy vehicles.
With mono speaker, even if you play it at high volume, you cannot enjoy music while walking on streets or while traveling.
6) Camera
The smartphone comes equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera. Motorola has included 4K video recording capabilities in their smartphone, a feature that is gaining popularity among top-end smartphones.
The front camera on Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is of 5-megapixel resolution, which will enable you to take decent selfies or make video calls without any issues.
The rear flash helps in low-light conditions. A 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor powers the device along with 3GB of RAM. As for storage, it comes in two variants: one variant offers 32GB of internal storage while another packs 64GB internal storage.
